Hi, Roz. As with anything, once you learn the language, it isn't complicated. Some people like to keep it complicated because they enjoy the sense of power (Scorpio energy) over others. After you learn the language of the various symbols and planets and how they relate to one another, you see the truth in yourself and others, and it provides a sense of unconditional love as we understand each other with our own unique challenges and gifts we bring into this world. Astrology also teaches you how to work within the given energy at any moment. I will do some postings on the basic stuff like the 12 signs, the planets and the 12 houses, but my specialized interest is digging deeper. I continue to read and learn because the truth is always fascinating.

Thank you for the invite. I must admit, although I am interested in astrology, I seem to have developed a "resistance" to is because it seemed soooo complicated to me.

Namaste, I am impressed. This describes me perfectly. Yes, in my second half of life, I see my career is going to be more than I ever thought possible. You mentioned cough, and I suffered with childhood asthma.
Also, I am very superstitious and I have unusual beliefs. My intuition is strong. My mother and I can sit and watch people and make up stories because we can read them. As a child, I never realized what I was doing. I thought I was just "making stuff up," but now I realize I can read people.

Namaste Catherine,

You have a strong Ascendent. No matter how bad a chart is if the Asc is strong enough the person can deal with all type of situations. Jupiter in Cancer is strong it makes ur mind intutive and jupiter expands it more.

Ven and mars together in 2nd house i wont call it good maybe u suffer from heat related disorders. U definitely have a beautiful face, skin and might be very appealing due to presence of venus there.

3rd house sun in virgo gives you good command over people. You can boss over your brother and friends too.

Pluto and Uranus in 4th does not give u peace at home.....makes you restless you need to keep doing something not a home bird.

5th house neptune hmm.....your education could be related to something based on intution and psychic skills.

Moon in 6th house gives cold, disease related to cough etc.....also loads of superstitious believes(sometimes)

10th house saturn you would have to struggle to make a career...but defnitely after second half of life the struggles will pay off well and things will happen without expectations.

well just little bit whatever i could think about.

Welcome, Namaste. My lovely doctor who delivered my babies is from India. In vedic astrology, I don't believe I have a favorable chart. I did one of those computer readings for Vedic astrology awhile ago, and it wasn't as fortunate as my Western astrology reading. In Vedic, the Moon is more important. Right? I have a Saggitarius Moon. I'm going to a tarot party tonight. I have to leave pretty soon for it. I love reading tarot. I find it comforting for myself when I am at my wit's end. I'm open to learning more about vedic astrology, and what energies you may see lacking in me. My Virgo Sun is in the 3rd house. My Sag Moon is in the 6th house, and I have a Cancer Rising. My Pisces Saturn is in the 10th house and Pisces is on my Midheaven. My Mercury can be either in the 2nd or 3rd house depending on the chart system. I have a full 2nd house with Venus, Mars, and Mercury there. Jupiter is in my 1st house. Oh, I have both Pluto and Uranus conjunct in my 4th house and Neptune in Scorpio in my 5th house. sorry i forgot to introduce myself.
I am from India. I have learnt vedic astrology 2 years back.
Its very tough so i just stick to tarot to help people. But whatever energies i see lacking in horoscope i tell people. I am unable to make predictions with Dasha period.
My horoscope is rather weak for astrological practices. With Sun in 8th house, Moon with Chiron in 4th house gives intution which helps with tarot. Mercury weak but in 9th house.
