I was thrilled to see this topic. it is my passion as I am a Shaklee distributer. Shaklee has some of the BEST environment friendly cleaners. They are also an environmently friendly buisness in which they use there emmisions back into there buisness.
I cant wait to have some good topics here.

I've found you and joined the group.

Well, yesterday I watched a program on TV about the 'soup of garbage' on the Pacific Ocean. It is an enormous area where the water spins and the garbage stays there floating. It is possible to find mostly plastic stuff, mainly from Asian countries.

Then, I thought of ways of:

1. substituting plastic packaging by the former glass or paper ones
2. implementing recycling systems everywhere in the world, fiscalizing their activities and strictly punishing their possible or eventual environmental crimes
3. making governments responsible for the garbage their countries and people produce and what they do with it, i.e. one's own garbage has to be managed in one's own country and not thrown abroad

Any thoughts on this?
