That's why I included the discussion on How to tell real plant essential oils vs synthetic. I'm sure there are other high quality oils out there. I'd love to know about them.
Yes, young living is an MLM, but my purpose is not to sell oils here, it's to become more aware of their healing properties.
Just yesterday I used tea tree oil on my dog. He is a 10 yo Akita and had some bleeding on his underbelly. I put tea tree oil on it and the bleeding stopped and it also kept him from irritating it more by licking it. He does not like the taste of tea tree! LOL Lavender would have worked too.
Now if I would have put a synthetic oil on a wound like that, it would have caused burning! A real plant essential oil that is properly distilled does not cause any burning when applied.
Now he does like the taste of peppermint! I'll put a drop or 2 in his water dish and he loves that! Especially in the summer! Oh and he has such sweet breath!LOL
