This is very simple quick and easy to do. It doesn't matter about focusing on the issues with each chakra. We'll work on that in a later more advanced meditation. If you're ready now for a more structured and in-depth chakra meditation. Before You Begin
Remember as always like attracts like, stay in the spirit of love and light. Negative entities are attracted to fear, doubt, worry, anger and other types of negative emotions. Should you sense a negative entity at any time? Pour an abundance of love and light over yourself, the room, the situation, the building you're inside, and the environment around. It will flee very quickly as it cannot survive long in the atmosphere of love and light.
Choose a flower that you really like for this simple meditation, I tend to use roses.
1) Take a few minutes of deep breathing to center yourself ( take at least 5 deep breaths)
2) When you feel ready begin at the root chakra ( your groin)
3) Visualize it as a red budding flower
4) Imagine that it is starting to open and blossom before your very eyes. Inspect it very closely. Does it have any blemishes?
5) If it has any blemishes, or it doen't look healthy. Visualize white light shining through it and the light repairs the flower and when it looks beautiful and healthy. Move up to the next chakra.
6) Repeat the exercise with each chakra, changing the flower color as you work up your body.
7) If you can't remember the flower color for any chakra, use bright white light instead. The names of the chakras are not important just the location, so try and remember where each chakra is located.
Flower Colors
Red= Root/base chakra base of spine
Orange = Spleen Chakra lower abdomen below navel
Yellow = Solar plexus chakra above the navel stomach area
Green = Heart chakra center of chest
Blue = Throat chakra around your neck and throat
Indigo = Third eye chakra- in between your eyes
Violet = Crown chakra- top of your head
Then, see the light spreading from your chakras, into your aura.. See the aura thicken and grow stronger. You might see colors in your aura or just the white.
Keep your flowers blossoming as now you've swept them and cleansed them. This should keep you very healthy. There no wrong or right to this it just "IS". See your aura and entire body, below and above encased in a force field or sphere. The strength of which doesn't allow any negative energies to penetrate. It's now as strong as a diamond- Just like the force fields on Star Trek or Star Gate. It repels all negative- just like rain on a window- it cannot come inside- and the light dries it up and dispels it quickly. When going into crowded situations mentally pack your aura tighter into your body- to avoid your energy field blending with others of a negative vibration.
Do this once a day, preferably in the morning. Repeat in the evening if you're tired and had a stressful day. or if you have been working with healing or readings.
I've added the chakra widget, so if you want to study more, or double check out the locations of the chakras. It's right here for you
I was trying to figure out a way to remember the chakra's and their colors. I just figured it out, they are the colors of the rainbow, just opposite order!

I understand that I should not mediate when I don't feel happy, balanced or well, but is there something to do instead? I ask because I suffer from depression and I have refused to go back on medication, given the side effects (and the fact that I sometimes feel trapped mentally, when I know I need to discharge or release pain). So for someone like me, is there something spiritual that can help? I've always prayed and cried, but it seems that I have to struggle to get back in a good mood and I hate the feeling of being lost and trapped mentally for days. It's really hard to be able to do anything when depression episode comes.
