Family is interesting!
I have been studying and learning about healing for a year and a half, Actually I seemed to have been healing way before I knew what I was doing.
Give a friend a ear seems to be me my whole life.

It is very interesting yesterday I spent hours talking with a women and helping her with her family.
Her boys one being ADHD and her mentally abusive husband whom she left at one time to go back to him for the childrens sake.
Well all turned out well with our conversation as I knew she learned alot and will grow from that conversation.

The interesting part is to go home to a family of your own with pain and frustration.
To talk to them and get a I don't agree, Your wrong or just to have them yell at you, Ignore your words that just worked for this other women.
To be the observer of your close family, In the same house and watch them fight themselves knowing you have all the love and compassion to help them grow.

To be a healer and not be able to heal the people that you love and just want the best for.
Not easy to be the observer as you want to either take them in your arms and hug the heck out of them or strangle them!

This is my home and it is not the home I would choose however I am guessing this is the part of growth.

I understand what you mean hon it can be hard some days.
But I try to enjoy the good days when we have them.
I had a verbally abusive ex myself and he was becoming physically abusive.
I can tell you I was so relieved when he left.
But it is hard raising 4 kids on your own.
Harder when they miss the other parent but the other parent hasn't bothered to write or call their own children in several years.
I deal with them getting upset and just needing to talk to me.
Other days they are in a good mood.
We have had days where they were actually having trouble with their sleep and attitudes were bad.
It takes time to heal and alot of persistance to work with them on the things that are bothering them.
I hope you find what you need to help them to open up to you so your family can heal hon.
