Hi, Lola. If I remember correctly, Lily Dale is open during the summer months only. There are psychic mediums who live there full time, but the seminars and major activity are during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day. I've never stayed there, but from what I understand the accommodations remained true to the time period that Lily Dale was established during the Spiritualist era at the turn of the century. For example, I don't believe there is any air conditioning and you may have to share bathrooms. Also, there probably are various bed and breakfasts in the vicinity. From what I hear, some of the hotels have hauntings. If I didn't have two little ones, I'd love to stay an entire week or more and go to seminars. Last year, every day had more than one excellent learning experience. Also, there is a vortex place there where they do meditations to strengthen your psychic powers. I haven't been there yet, but my friend's grandmother was a famous Lily Dale medium and he inherited her gift. This is why I know so much about it. He gives me a brochure every year with the events and seminars. It is approx. a 2 hour drive from where I live in Ohio. If I go, I was only going to stay for a day and drive home because I have two little girls. I'm going to give my friend a call, and see what is on this year's schedule.
